not mentioned codes/digits to operate receiver

hi guys ;

i have heard there are some codes by which i can do some hidden actions to the receiver set..like there is a code to enter and reset the receiver pin code or there is a code by entering which the reciver goes to data mode..anyone knowing these kind of codes about any receiver post it here..
