Hi Feedsat.
Can you explain this system & how it works ?
Keep it simple please
This is a variant of the DVB-S2X, with more FEC, more QPSK ,and less bandwidth to buy for same result
(not easy to explain simply), but if you don't have a NS3 receiver, you have no way to watch it, PC card doesn't exist.
RRsat, EBU and some other providers already use NS3 for a couple of years, the most difficult for a satellite enthousiast is to find a receiver.
@Feedsat_DXer
Nice toy. You have a demodulated carrier, how do you output this to a decoder? Those BNC sockets? Otherwise I can only see LAN, RS232 ports.
Yes , only with ASI output (for the moment, connected to he ASI input of a MPEG4 IRD but not the best way for a daily use, (I'm on it...)
Hi Feedsat.
Very nice. Are you able to view the EBU hypermux at 10E? I suppose it will be encrypted... Look forward to more screenshots.
Most of the part of the EBU Mux @ 10°E (also @ 3°W 55.5°Wand 100.5°E) are DATA (this is the function of the Gig Ethernet output port) and yes, streams are in BISS for most of them. Novelsat can't use BISS in their products, broadcasters and owners are working with a MPEG4 IRD to encode and decode the streams .
