Select Installation = Weather Forecast ?

Select F4 = Weather Forecast ?
Press Blue button = Weather Forecast ?

Unable to find factory reset in the new menu layout give up back to previous software.

Same results as on line software so back to previous software,

Now Factory default & load latest patch I do not think this will work either so I will stick with the latest software & avoid a Brick

All OK here. Something must have corrupted.

I never update over the Internet (there may be problems)
Always by USB.
In your case, I think like Scopus, there is a bug.
Try to get back to a sw without problems after doing a werkreset and then try loading the new version

Are there any plans to reconfigure the blind scan so that I can select the part of the Ku band that I want to scan?

Unfortunately I do not think so, I already asked the engineers and they said it seemed difficult and unlikely.
It is true that for satellites close to each other (eg Amos and Eutelsat 5 west) it is not practical.

Thanks for your advice stephan94 the problem that I had is now sorted

It would seem that while previous upgrades worked ok online without a factory reset (SW Version 1.04.50) did not,

So I followed this procedure:-

1/load patch SW Version 1.04.50 onto a USB stick
2/Save your channel list & other files to a USB stick,
3/Go to System settings & select Factory default
4/Go to Firmware update & Load software1.04.50 from the USB stick
5/Now load your channel list & other files to the receiver,

Finished all working OK

OTA updates will never fully wipe something, so if they have changed the config table it still use the old one which is why it was selecting the wrong things.
Glad it's sorted and you don't have a brick

A shame. However, it does not take too long to delete the transponders from the adjacent satellite.
It would be great when doing an individual transponder scan for the timeout to be extended to allow the receiver to lock into the lower SR ones. If I have input the parameters of the transponder manually and then wait for a lock to be achieved but when I scan to log the channels in the database, the receiver times out too soon. Alternatively, can the pids be input manually if known from Lyngsat?

Anybody else finding that the remote control doesn't respond when you switch from a pal channel to a ntsc channel?

I just spoke with Octagon regarding the BBC SATBACK channels on 27.5w which currently don't scan anything on the SX88, Octagon have offered to fix this but they need the ts file I think, "need stream file with pc dvb card" would anybody be kind enough to help out? Thanks
