Looks very interesting.

I haven't bought any toys for ages, so might see what's in the piggy bank.

As a Yorkshireman, I'll wait for the price to plummet, though!

Maybe worth adding to my collection for the H265 & Hardware Blind Scan :)

I find that there's something inherently wrong about "small" receivers. I much, much prefer full size ones.

Does look interesting though, especially for the price. Doesn't seem to mention CPU though...

I assume blind scan with being hardware will work from release and not have to be 'added' in a future update like the 4K model!

This has to be another closed source firmware where all the known MIS data (pls modes, codes and stream ids) are pre-stored, leading the users to believe that the tuner actually blindscans a PLS scrambled transponder. Same line as the Denys receiver and the upcoming Edision. I'll see further to this receiver in the coming days, but I'm 99.9% sure this is the case.

Can you select a part of the Ku band to Blind Scan as this a much faster way to find active transponders for example:-
Start 10950 Stop 11200,
-------11240 to 11700
-------12500 to 12750
Or does it just scan the entire band 10.7 to 12.75 as this can be very slow.

yes ,only with this way.
it is not fast but it is not slow.
depending on the satellites the result is different.
Sometimes when you switch from one polarity to another it lasts a long time?
why? I don't know
if you ask to look for the MIS (multistream T2MI) the blindscan is slower.

Perhaps you can tell us how good or bad the blind scan and other features are? Thanks

..... and also please stephan a screen grab of the lnb LO choices, especially Ka band LO options ie: 17.250 / 20.250 etc . Also the C band LO choices. Has the lnb LO menu got a "User" input option, which is a real need for the enthusiast that might want to use this receiver ..... and just as important- will it actually perform a blind scan correctly on the selected LO input choice.

thanks stephan that's a big help. There have been problems in the past with some Technomate receivers that had the LO "user" option in the menu to do blind scans on various Ka bands and C band lnb's that used LO's of 5.76 or lnb's that do extended C-band frequency coverage like 3600 - 4800 etc but when you pressed "Go" or whatever, the rx just failed to start or crashed . Do you know of any beta testers that can run a successful blind scan on these less common lnb and band choices.
