You can almost certainly do it cheapwer with a proper middle eastern proxy and the JSC streaming service though.

£400quid? What a rip off. I think i'd go with analoguesat's recommendation & go for the online sub from them direct.

Right but IPTV boxes offer around 400 channels rather than just Al Jaz Sports, though most probably won't be of interest anyway. Also, I don't see 6-10 listed on their site, so not sure if that will be available.

£400? A subscription to the full package of JSC is three times cheaper!

Yeah but a 3 meter dish for Nilesat 201 in UK will be 3 times more expensive... A subscription is no good if you can't receive the signal!

just recieved an email from a company i buy from and they say the new al jazeera hd channels will be on Arabsat Badr6 (26 east) also.......i dont know if that is any easier for you guys in the uk

true captain jack but 400 quid via some 3rd party for a bunch of channels i dont need or 85 quid for the season for JSC sports online seems a no brainer.

captain jack. i am new new to this forum but you appear to be very knowledgable. i am just back from cyprus where i had a dreambox and al jazeera and all the channels inc +10. apart from a 2.4m dish is there any other way to get these channels in south uk- essex. via a 1m plus dish or view the web.

You won't get JSC Sport +6 to +10, they are on Nilesat 201, you'll need a 3.0m+ dish size.

I have Al Jazz on Arabsat (26E) and there are NO HD channels on it only +1 to +10.

yes mate 7 west only for the hd channels,i got this email before they introduced the hd channels and they obviously got it wrong or jsc changed their minds or got told they cant put the hd on 26east
