old feedhorn types,for kuband optimizing!

yesterday evening i have a great idea!
i want to make a overview,of old feedhorn types for kuband,to find the best solution for kuband signal optimizing!
please feel free to post your coments,and the pictures,of your old stuff!

here are some pictures of my colection!

also i nice antenna picture,that i have taken,to years ago,during my south american travel in st.christobhal,in Mexico,a very rare Antenne,this feedhorn type i never see before,looks real amazing

so i try to find a aswer in this topic what feed horn type,is the best/antenna combination?

yeahh long time ago,i installed my first dish ano 1987 ,
when i was 10 years old!
of the lunch of astra 2A a normal 90 cm dish at this time coasts at this time nearly 20000 Austrian Schillings
since 21 years no satelit reception is my hobby!

Do you tested Invacom adjustable feedhorn ADF120 how work on astra2d?I tested with invacom QDF-031 on my 1.80 prime focus dish on astra2d and not works better than my old feedhorn not original/matched/i dont know why this invacom adjusable feedhorn give me poor reception only on fringe asta2d i setup correct skew and focal point.

yes i have this feedhorn from incacom also bought in usa,the dealer told the gain winning is aproximently 2 db more!
astra d2,in my ara,is so strong,that i can reveice bbc,with 45 cm dish,here in west austria,only in the east signal is very low!

i use it on my 2,20 m dish for turksat eastbeam,works perfekt and in the night i can watch all east beam transponders!

I cannot say that it is my hobby yet.
Microwave telecom technology is quite challenging but I do not find in the forums what should satisfy me.
I am thinking of studying the matter more seriously (academically) in order to find the answers I need.
Then, I could be able to tell you about satellites being a hobby.
