I need to replace the LNB on my Sky Mk3 Zone 1 dish. I am currently self-isolating so my access to parts is limited.
I do have a spare MK4 arm plus LNB which fits into the socket at the rear of the dish.

The MK4 arm is longer than the Mk3 arm as it comes from a larger dish.
My newbie question is - if the MK4 arm is shortened and new bolt holes drilled, will this work ?
Or is it a least worth trying?

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Cut to the correct length and it should be OK

Thanks, I was planning to cut it so that the Mark4 LNB was the same distance from the centre of the dish as the old MK3 LNB.

The front of the cap distance is the important dimension, get it close and you should be fine.
