Is this possible ?

I have my CV on a .tif file only, can it be upgraded as I would not wish to write out the full four pages. If so what do I need ?

Thanks in advance

You may be able to convert it to text using a scanner and character recognition software.

Thats possible if I could print it out, but the scanner I have is currently bringing up 'error due to cartridge failure'. It wont switch to scanner mode only either if a fault comes up. I even went and bought a new 56 cartridge just in case (£20 down the pan)

And I thought HP was the ultimate

If you don't mind me seeing it, you can E-mail me the tif and I'll print it and scan it.

Can you not put the tiff though the OCR program?

After all the scan is only producing a digital image?

I thought that was what Rolf had just offered to do, I would have made the same offer but my OCR software is quite old now and not very efficient.

Didn't know you could do it without the scan, the OCR comes as part of the HP scanner package.

Well CH was in the car when I spoke to him earlier, so he can decide which way he wants to do it. :)

Hi, just sent it to Rolf, but if looks like its not going to happen, then please pass it onto gameboy

Cheers for this, I have a job interview tomorrow , but they already know about my past. This is just the follow-up so its not urgent.
