Had a look myself, I understand what you mean. Have you tried an email to them or got in touch with your supplier?

Spent over an hour this morning trying to find and answer to this.

On the official website/s it asks you to check the OTA section - but where I can't find it and it would appear nobody else can.

Saw a mention of Hotbird but not frequency or anything.

0 out of 10 - they must try harder.

If you get an answer from them come back at put us all out of our misery please.

:confused

I copied this from Satnerds a while ago -

The OTA service on HOTBIRD 13.0E, transponder 12539/H/27500, is available for the satellite receivers of the:

AD-3600IP series;
D-2600IP series.
DSB-1220 series (PID 5390);
DSB-1230 series;
DSB-2200 series;
DSB-2220 series (PID 5390);
DSB-2230 series;
DSB-707 series;
DSB-709 series;
DSB-770 series (PID 5390);
DSB-780 series;
DSB-808 series;
DSB-880 series (PID 5390);
DSB-890 series.
DVR-5000 series .

The OTA service on ASTRA1 19.2E, transponder 12604/H/22000, is available for the satellite receivers of the:

D-2400IP series.
DSB-1230 series;
DSB-2200 series;
DSB-2230 series;
DSB-707 series;
DSB-780 series;
DSB-808 series;
DSB-890 series.
DVR-5000 series;
DVR-7000 series.
PVR-5020 series.

Don't know of it's still relevant now, as the Echostar site is becoming less user-friendly these days, perhaps they're dropping OTA's for some receivers - I know they have for the AD3000ip.

Thank's Llew for that link to satnerds. A friend bought a Homecast receiver and the handbook mentioned OTA updates but no indication of which satellite etc, will have a look at the satnerds site, cheers.

...although checking the data info for those TP's at Satcodx, if it is to be believed, only Astra has S/W downloads for Echostars, but not for the DSB-2220 if that list is correct.
