newbie question,

Hi.

Last night I had to take apart my spare Pace BSKYB 2500s
pace-bsb2500.gif


I noticed there is a cam slot inside.

Can this be enabled and utilised to use a cam?

No, at the moment you can't add a cam, and may well never be able to.

This has been covered many times before, no one is sure exactly what it is for, it could be so Sky can change their encryption drastically in the future, it could be for add on modules, or it could be a legal obligation Sky have to put a cam slot in all their receivers (despite it not actually working)
