Pace MSS 588 - any information anyone?

Does anyone know of anywhere I can find the specs for this model? Channels, tuner ranges, LNB inputs, the usual stuff?

I'm guessing it's just a different version of the MSS 500, and I seem to vaguely remember a review of the box in What Satellite in the back of my mind from many moons ago, but I could be wrong.

Any clues?

You're really testing the grey cells here.

I think that it's the version wih a built-in DMAC/D2MAC Eurocrypt decoder. If I remember correctly it will also receive analogue channels and it has facility for driving a motorised dish.

I would think that it will drive a universal LNB and cover 9.75GHz - 12.75GHz in 2 bands. It should have 2 LNB inputs. There will be no Diseqc support.

From there on in it all gets hazy - well more so actually.

I seem to remember an MSS508 but apart from any little extras, it will be identical to the 500 with regard to tuner range, LNB inputs etc.

The models with positioners had ip after the number i believe.
