Panasonic Box freezes

My friend's "Origional" Panasonic box freezes when he tries to access a new channel (464) He tells me the two red LEDs come on . The only solution for him is to unplug and rebooth. Has anyone come across this problem before?

I take it, that this is a Sky receiver?
