I have just won one of the above twin tuner Freesat HDD/Blu ray recorders and awaiting delivery. Purchased mainly for the blu ray recorder but I am wondering if it can be easily used on other satellites - does it support DiSEqC? Also the common interface - is it CI or CI+ and what cams can be used in it?

There is an online manual, for the DMR BS850 model, which seems to be the same, check out page 16 onwards:
Code:
http://tda.panasonic-europe-service.com/docs/2z59818b1cz3z2e47bz656ez706466z23zb96c99a36557843e6d60a00e05feaa60146eedd9/pgrp001/pcat109/dmrbs850eb/836187/BluRay_Recorder_Self_Help_V2.1.pdf
This seems to be practically useles, as a satellite receiver, unless they've added extra software features, but even then a £30-£40 dedicated satellite receiver would probably do a lot more, as this was designed as a DVD recorder player, and home entertainment system.

I have one of these machines.....The BS 750 does not have DISEqC...But does have "other sats" mode... a manual switch must be used or a DISEqC Generator....

Also On Freesat mode HD programs are restricted to 1 bluray copy and Some ITV films are blocked from HD copying !
Its a Nice machine tho ...and cost a fortune back in the day when new
