Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
The DSCR approach would be a bit of a "sledgehammer to crack a nut" approach, and more expensive into the bargain, unless it is very difficult to get to the dish to change the LNB.

FWIW, that's a Sky "Zone 2" dish, not that it makes any difference w.r.t. the LNB - slighly unusual in the Southern UK, but not unknown (and what I use in W.London) because it gives more reliable reception in heavy rain/show etc.

Zone 2 ? :-wow

New to this game. Have sky Q but not paying anymore so have just cancelled. I was going to buy a Freesat box but found out by pure accident I have Freesat within my Panasonic TV. It has connections for two leads from the dish. I connected the leads and started auto setup. Excellent signal strength and quality. EPG menu on. But each time I select a channel the banner displays but no picture. I've 'no signal'. Any advice to get the picture. Thanks.

You will get a few channels if you can do the calculations of frequency based on the wideband LNB , and you will also need to swop over the cables when you want to watch the others.

Your best bet is to change the Electrinics on the dish to the older style universal type, then they will all come in with a single search.

With regard to a different LNB, would that still be the case of having too change it if I got a new Freesat box. I was looking at the new 4k 2tb that they now have.

No, the new 4K box will work with your existing LNB :)

Just an update. Didn't bin SKY in the end, but I have now. One month in and not missing it. My question is my Panasonic TX-55FX750B has an internal FREESAT facility. It will search, gives 100% signal strength and quality. However when I select any channel to view it says No Signal. I have tried using the internal satellite software within the TV to find manual channels. It will find them and will display them. This has then made me think is it the software, the TV, the dish or the leads. I have checked the dish and it is a wideband, but it will still work showing me channels like Bloomberg, Dave etc. I've tried to enter frequencies for the likes of BBC, but it will find not Freesat channels, rather other channels instead, SKY etc.
So I'm not sure what is going on. Any help would be great. I do have the Feesat 4k 2TB box and it works perfectly with that. I will try to attach a picture of the back of the TV if that helps. Thanks

The TV requires a 'legacy' LNB to work correctly. A Sky Quad LNB will work with both the TV and Freesat 4K box, but the box will be limited in how many channels it can simultaneously record. Best option is a SKY hybrid LNB which has both wideband and legacy outputs.

SKY mk4 wideband. A mk4 hybrid LNB like this one is a direct replacement:
