A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

A customer has brought this one in with a power fault. It was originally installed on the wall by the previous apartment owners.

Having looked through all the manuals and auction sites, there appears to be no specific detail on the power lead this one uses, and Panasonic sites visited don't have anything either.

It is a UK/Ireland model according to the blurb on the rear chassis, and about six years old.

So where do I get the right power lead from, just to plug it in at the office ?20180811_131314.jpg20180811_131322.jpg20180811_131339.jpg20180811_131355.jpg20180811_131426.jpg

A archived auction on Fleabay has this image, but no further detail

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
I've never seen one like that either (and I've seen quite a few) - couldn't the customer give you his power lead?

Alternatively, could you remove the filter lid and jury-rig connections to the filter i/p terminals??

Alternative 2 - might have to replace the filter with another that has a similar circuit config, but with a more conventional i/p socket design, as it looks fairly similar to many others I've seen.

PS: the Tokin filter catalogue is here and the GL series is right at the end, but that one is not listed - maybe you could contact them to see what they could recommend?

The lead is securely fixed in the wall behind the wall mount, hence it being left on site.

Since it is not my TV I don't want to go down the route of modifying/buying more than is required, then having to convert back once fixed.

I did, nothing in there that assists a lead for this weekend. I could take the block out completely and run the set off a filtered socket for the time being.

Sounds like the only realistic solution in the short-term :)

It's all going to be isolated with wood and taped up.

No worries

1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 25 years and is now fixed on 13 East using two pairs of rusty molegrips. Unlike me they never groan but always perform.
