Well here's my new Gibertini OP 1.25m dish with Inverto 40mm Silver Tech Twin 0.3 db, pointing at 28.2 E. I can now get the North Beam with about 30% to 40% Signal Quality. It can be boosted with a line amplifier that I put about 20 meters away from the LNB. The TV screen pics' is one without and another with the line amp.

Looks good, saw one of the Gilbertini 1.25m dishes the other day and have to say was quite impressed, the mount is certainly very heavy though, compared to the dish face.

Nice views. :)

Thanks rolfw. Yes, the mount is very heavy, but it's very well made compared to the Teka 1.20m that I used to have(gave it to dad). Had to make a special holder for it because of the angle with the roof.

Nice dish mate.

I am thinking of buying that dish to replace my Fibo, i am just worried about not having the space for it.

You should put a motor on the dish.

Thanks Alex. I do get channel 4 with an open signal. No pixellation. Even at nightfall it has a very steady signal.

There are tall chimenys to the left of the dish and to the right(you can see one of them on the second pic). The dish hits the tiles on due South. That's why I had to custom make the wall mount so it wouldn't also hit that upper berm of the stair roof.

Well done rato! :D I'm happy you are finally able to receive the north beam, I guess last weekend's heavy winds messed up my dish because now I can't receive NB from astra :p I was going to align the dish properly today, but unfortunately seems like the bad weather always waits for the weekend to come... :(, well north beam doesn't really make me much diference because I don't have sky nor know anyway to get it. But it's always nice for one to know that one's dish is working perfect, but now it isn't....

Thanks Tonito! Since I have the Sky card, at least I get channel 4 & Sky Three now. The same thing happened to my dads' dish with the winds from last week. I have just the NASN channel on the Sky card(for NHL, NBA,MLB, you know what I want:D ). It's through my brothers' address in the U.K.

Oh lucky for you :D Too bad we don't have much choice of american and candian FTA channels over here, that would be very cool.
nbc's feed on 12.5W gets kind of boring after a while...

I know. Going to try and put up my "old" Teka 1.20m dish for my dad this afternoon if the weather permits it(it's almost raining here!). He's going for the 12.5ºW & 15ºW to see if he can get the feeds also. CBC Newsworld is on 12.5ºW at 10.958GHz. Horiz.

Dependes. I can be put almost next to the LNB, or 20m away from it(sorta' like having a hearing aid and being in a noisy room full of people, or being out of the noisy room and not hearing it!). I took mine out because it gives me more signal "noise" than it does in signal gain in quality.
