I have 2x T4900CT win95 laptops ..
Neither have a functional floppy drive..
both floppies could be repaired IF..
I could find a source for drive belts.
Approx 70mm diameter (not critical)
0.5mm square section belts ( cross sectional dimensions are critical due to clearances - but could be round section maybe)
many belt kits out there but usually start at 1mm cross section (too thick)
problem is ..the neoprene rubber has perished ...become plasticised ..and fused to the pulleys.
Obviously these were never intended to be repaired..
If you find anything suitable ..let me know.

I bought few drive belts for a tape cassette deck.
Not sure if this is what you want, but try this shop (USA)
www.studiosoundelectronics.com
Didn't find 0.5mm belts when I checked now
The store will reopen on 28th July. You can consult with them perhaps they can help you
Good luck

There's also the awesome power and speed of the Intel Pentium 75 MHz, 3.3 volt processor to accelerate your every move, and an 8 MB RAM that's expandable up to 40 MB*. This combination makes the T4900CT the most capable notebook on the market. And it's underlined by the T4900CT's 770 MB (810 mill. bytes) hard disk and 16 KB on-chip cache.

OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Some peep's I knew used old bike tire inner-tubes, the ones used for racing worked wonders for small drive belts, (on old tape drives) the smaller the tire the smaller the cross section, a very sharp razor blade can slice some really nice cross sections, (and your fingers) but they may be too thick for your needs.

Try searching for chart recorder drive belts. There may be something there that suits

Indeed ..they were pretty awesome in their day ..and still fuctional but for the floppies and sadly the battery packs ..
which are 12v and use 10x 1.2v NiMH ..so no balanced charging required ..
I will also attempt battery pack rebuilds if I can fix the floppies..
These are the battery types I believe..
BATTERY NI-MH +TAGS 7/5AF 3.7AH 1.2V - Rechargeable - Batteries | eBay
but no way am I paying stoopid prices for 'em..

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Near Pontop Pike, Co. Durham
Expensive for some NiMH 17670 sized cells (narrower than an 18650, and slightly longer, but also 1.2v), a quick google reveals many alternative sources for such batteries... :)
