Hi Peeps! The bidding is almost over for the multiplex licenses for DTT and yes sky are in the running, much to ITV and the BBC's disgust.
I do know however that if sky do take over the service they intend on changing the security from the 'cuurent' encryption to something very similar of sky digital. If u really wanna know whats going down take a trip to the ITC website at http://itc.co.uk they have all the relevant info regarding the license applications! So dont throw out ya box just yet! However, depending on who gets the license the services and channels will change. Does anyone think that the new BBC channels 701 and 702 interactive football is really cheesey?!?
Lets all be ready for a renewed and better (i hope) DTT platform!
