Aha!

It could well be the Common Myna, a native of India, Central and Southern Asia.

And it seems to be common in other parts of the world too.

Actually, I'm positive that's what it is. They seem to be Juveniles.

Birds of Israel - Passeriformes - Common Myna

Just Google Myna Bird and you'll find a great many pictures and articles.

Thanks. I think you are right. Well done.
Will try to take better photos if they give me the chance. They are always flying about.

I must admit I hadn't tried the panorama option on iOS until I read this thread so here's a very quick test shot taken off my balcony this morning. I've had to shrink it down to be able to upload it here though. I like the continuous sweeping way to doing it on iOS. On my Windows Phone I have to pause between shots but I think that allows for a higher resolution end result.

I don't like long panoramic shots from phones, because it looks like the whole scenery is bowed. Understanding because of perspective but it doesn't look brilliant. Perhaps if you were to load it in an app that goes 'around' the shot...?

The Day the tower crane was dismantled

I love taking photos of building sites under construction from start to finish.
Unfortunately this has been going on too frequently over the past 30 years.
Every finished building gives me the feeling of suffocation and they limit my dishes angles for reception.
Anyway we had this building on the street side and one day the tower crane was disassembled.
I took few photos. The sky was amazingly blue.
Sorry they were taken with a digital camera and not with my mobile.
