just got my skystar2 to work with my computer, dont ask me how but it works, the verion of progdvb is 7.12
and i dont get this bloody microsoft message like i used to get with other verions, and i have installed
s2emu soft cam +keys and got most of the channels working, but the picture is some what start and stop
kind of thing, when you watch a film you notice the film and the actors some what frezzze up just a little, is
there anything i can do to stop this, on the satellite reciever its ok but on the skystar the same trouble,
i have got this elecard thing on my settings, i dont have a mpeg decoder, do i have to download somthing to get this to work ok, and does anybody els have trouble with there picture

South central
Could be one of several things.
What is your signal level like on the SS2 ? as low signal could cause intermittent freezing.

Or your PC isn't quite up to it. That could also do it.

could the motherboard have anything to do with this not working right, because from day one i have had trouble with this card

this wek i saw this thread on this other website and it said that if you have sis 651 on your motherboard
your going to have trouble with this sort of card, and guess what i have this on my motherboard, but i could be rong about this,

im thinking of building my own computer from the motherboard up, what motherboard do you think i should go for, i have seen this 939 delux mother board going for about £120 but what do you think, my computer is very slow doing most things, can you help me on this subject about motherboards
