Hi,

i was wondering if someone could clarify if pirate cards are more reliable than cams.
from my own experince with cams i find the the picture freezes, so you would exit the cam and re-insert.

regards.

Hi amerwaqar,
cards tend to have less long term support, than cams or receiver patches, and are more specialised, i.e. only designed to open certain packages.
If you post more information, concerning your receiver, we can recommend whether it would be better to get a Dragon Cam or other solution.
Best wishes

I have a Manattan 2ci with viaccess build-in
matrix rev 3.00
matrix reb 1.170

at times i have too re insert the cam too re-open channels on Tps/Srg swiss, so i am considering a pirate card which my have less hastle.

Hi amerwaqar,
it could be an issue with your receiver, but the packages you mentioned, both on hotbird, are currently available on a funcard, if you have one try that, or you could try different files for your Cams.
Which Manhattan receiver are you using and has it been patched?
Best wishes

Yes - DigitAlb on 16E and Premiere on 19E are just two examples of specialised card only viewing, albeit one the result of a commercial hack.

The D/B (using emu's) will open the same as a Dragon cam and the same as PCI sat cards.
