Could the experienced DXers please recommend the best TBS DVB card? I need something that will do the following:

1) work with EBS Pro and Crazyscan and do blindscan
2) lock transponders quickly
3) come with great locking stability (picture not breaking up on marginal signals)
4) show correct SNR and frequency

So far I've tested TBS 5925, TBS 8922, TBS 6522 and TBS 5922 but there's something I don't like about these:
TBS 5925 locks every marginal signal but slowly compared to TBS 8922. The 8922 locks very fast and seems to lock everything like 5925 but shows incorrect SNR and frequency. The TBS 6522 is generally poor, not really locking any marginal signal and blindscan is not supported. The 5922 is OK but showing incorrect SNR and frequency during blindscan, which is slow.

I have also tested DVB Sky 960S which is OK for scanning but is not locking marginal signals unlike the 5925 or 8922.

So I was thinking maybe TBS 6903 could be good in the above mentioned points but I didn't find a video which would show how fast does it lock a transponder. For example my 5925 takes 2-3 seconds to do that in EBS Pro, while TBS 8922 can do it in just 1 second.

6522 support blind-scan for satellite.

But anyway for DXers recommended now TBS 6903 PCI-E or TBS 5927 USB. Both STV6120/STV0910ADB based.
Ultra-fast Blind-scan (BLScan2 mode recommended), fast locking for low SR transponders.

Will ultra fast blind scan be available for other cards in the near future

Thanks, it would be nice to have one card that does everything ultra fast blind scan s2x multi stream etc, its getting expensive having to buy 2 different professional cards to get the best setup :(

Is ultra fast blindscan only in Blscan2 mode? If so , Blscan2 mode is better now than classic blscan mode.

BLScan2 is vendor-specific BlindScan algo.
BLScan is classic step-by-step blind carrier search (first time implemented for stv0288 and stv090x).

Some demods support only BLScan2 (montage ds300x, ds3103), some only BLScan.

I have used TBS6981 , TBS6922SE ,TBS6983, TBS6925 and the new TBS6522.
I would say the TBS6983 is the best one i have used for speed and fringe reception.

Thanks, so I will get the 6903, which should not be any worse than the older 6983, right?

Hello... so I've started testing the TBS6903 and BLScan2 is great. However RF scan seems quite slow, is there a way to make it better? For example with TBS5925 the RFScan got much faster with CrazyBDA drivers, but is there such option for TBS6903?

Thanks
