Podcasting seems to be the new way to get radio shows on to your MP3 player to listen on the move. Here's some links for anyone who's interested in giving it a go.

Using Podcast software like iPodder will allow you to download radio shows automatically at times you specify and have the files waiting for you on your computer, so you don't have to spend a lot of time manually selecting and waiting for downloads. You can play your selected audio files using windows media player, or load them on to your portable digital media player (MP3 Player) to play anytime you want.

Podcast.net lists lots of podcasts to subscribe to.

I think the BBC should publicise this better.

If you find any podcasts please share them here.

Not sure yet but if you leave your PC running you can schedule ipodder to download all current podcasts overnight.
