Is it possible that Sly are dropping the transponder signal strength to create more capacity for the upcoming new services.
Signal has dropped here in S.W.France big style and I presume that they are dropping off strength for capacity bandwith.

I can't imagine that a power reduction would facilitate any more bandwidth Tiggy and haven't heard any reports of power reductions, I guess that if it were the case, the guys in Spain and further afield would be suffering more.

hi,

Are you sure your dish hasn't moved slightly? When i had my sky dish re-installed the signal strength was 62 and now it's dropped to signal strength 48 in under a year.

Looks like I might have to get the ladder and meter out again. We have had high winds here in France, but no other sats seem to be affected.
