If a router is configured always to use a VPN for every device connected to it then would that render the ISP blocking of a stream as useless?

IF your VPN can use UDP or SSL/TLS then there efforts will be useless

They will never stop the clued up tech geek who knows what they are doing. What they want to stop is Johnny Average who bought a plug & play box from a man on t'internet

Ive said for years this whole ridiculous charade of whack a mole could be stopped tomorrow if they wanted to - just allow the UK to watch the 3pm games (no doubt at a a big premium). Then do something sensible instead of inflating Mr Rooneys & his chums pay packets even further --->> use the extra money as trickle down to give the clubs in the lower leagues some incentive to do better.

Sadly the UK is blindly walking into wholesale censorship, this is the thin end of the wedge once the technology is established.
