Never had one but have heard they are good as they are made with the old precision antennas tooling/equipment.

wod,

Is that correct, I thought that it was Elite Antennas that were making aluminium dishes with the old Precision Antennas tooling? Looking at a Primesat 1.8m dish they do not have the tubular reinforcement around the edge of the dish that is on the Precision/Elite 1.8m dishes and the fixing of the mounting ring on the back is different.

I am not saying they are not made by Elite Antennas but they are not that much like the old Precision dishes in design?

I hoped that Corotor would make a better job but this is not the case.

The Corotor is an ancient design that dates from the 1970s.

Yes I know that, and this is the reason because I supposed a new combined C/Ku band LNBF could solve the problem, but the opinions in this thread don't seem too goods.... so I don't know. Obviously I'm speaking about the combined LNBF sold by SSS, it can be included in a complete package with this dish. If it's good maybe I will order next Spring, but I'm not sure and I really appreciate every possible feedback from the board. Thank you.

You may be correct, I think it was elite antennas that are using precision tooling.

Primesat are sat superstore brand of large dishes.

I'm sure some one here can confirm it.

Try it.

You might find it works well enough to suit your purpose. The only way to find out would be to get it and test it.

You could always sell it on if you decide you don't like it.

Has anyone information about the Primesat wind loads?

All I have found from Primesat etc., is: "-----is designed for all normal wind loads but----"
