Problem with free view

My Satellite Setup
Fortec-Star Lifetime Classic Receiver with 65cm dish single LNB

Got ALBA free view for christmas and box was faulty, so replaced it for a Thomson one, problem is so far get reception in the day but about 25% of channels cant watch at night because there to broken up. Has anyone got solution to the problem?

Check your aerial and the connections.

Sounds like the signal is weak.

Why is the reception ok in the day if the ariel has a problem, it's only at night the problem

maybe its not day and night related . are u wathing more than one tv at night which might detereate the signal . is the anolog tv ok or do it deteriate at night as well . is the freeview box well venterlated they do freeze up and get slugish when hot .and most people watch tv for longer at night which ties up with the night and day thig . try bypassing all other equipment ie plug aerial strait in freeview box . hope this will help u
