Just connected a Sky+HD box. I noticed that several of the Sky Movie HD channels were quite weak (never watched those channels before). They are all on the Europe beam. 12.129, 12.168, 12.207 all Vertical are below quality and go off at night. 12.148, 12.188, 12.126, 12.266 all Horizontal work fine. All the other frequencies on that bird don't seem to be effected.
I am thinking that the LNB (Inverto Black Pro Quattro Flange) is giving up.

Any thoughts.

I have also had problems with receiver Lnb compatibility some receivers work fine with the Inverto Black Ultra like Octagon SX88+ & all variants in the Octagon range + Edision Primo S2,TM5402HD M3 +TM6902HD,

Others like TM5302HD, TM5402HD M1, Spiderbox HD 9000 & 9900 + some Skyboxes do not work well over the Ku band 10.7 to 12.75 with the IBU high performance Lnb.

In my case its a Sky+HD box and two Samsung TVs. But I changed several LNBs since I've had the dish. First three Invacom Quads and now the Invertos, none of which are produced anymore. I've looked at Swedish Microwave LNBs, but I can't find shop that is naming a price for them, only quote requests. So they must be rare also. The alternative is fibre, but that means new cabling.

As it turns out, the LNB was OK. I changed it and the other LNB showed the same spectrum. As it turns out I got my information aboout the Transponder from Kingofsat. It says Europe beam. But the I looked the frequency up on Flysat. They state the UK beam which is obviously correct according o the spectrum. I wrote to kingofsat a week ago, but they still have not changed the information.

What is beyond me is that Sky runs the PremiereHD movie channel together with a few others on the UK beam. Just trying to annoy us?

Do some Sky+HD boxes have different tuner sensitivity also?
I know on mine certain boxes show more or less strength and quality (depending on box) being received on screen using but using the same input feeds.

Hi statalite, in my case it is definetely the UK beam. I am right on the edge of the UK beam even with the 2.40 m. And setting it to 2E does make things worse for me on the other 2 birds.

12 129 V and 12 168 V are on the UK beam. 12 207 V and the horisontals are on the UK beam. 12 129 is weak and 12 168 even weaker. 12 168 V (and also 12 363 V) used to be on the European beam but switched to UK beam. They are both very problematic to get 24/7.
12 207 V is on 2F and one of the weakest TP:s on the European beam. Comes in around 13,5 dB at my place.

I have to correct my text: 12 207 V and the horisontals mentioned are on the EUROPEAN beam (not UK)!
Sorry!
