Hi.
I'm using funprom and a cheap funcard programmer, plugged into the printer port, to program a funcard 6. I've tried it using Windows 2000 and Windows XP and get 'no response from processor'. With Win NT I get 'DLPORTIO.SYS device driver not loaded. Port I/O will have no effect ' followed by the same no response message.

I can't work out what I'm doing wrong and it's drving me mad.
Can anyone help?

Have you put any driver for the programmer on to your computer. most programmers have there own software to make them work.

I clicked 'install NT port drivers' under system on the funprom menu and rebooted my computer (using XP but the supplier said this would be OK). It says 'installation complete, please reboot'. Do I have to do more?

I'm using the latest version of funprom, from the whocares (makers of funprom) forum, which is supposedly compatible with funcard 2-7, and an Apollo programmer via the printer port.
