I bought mine from satshop24.de.
You can't use this PM to a 120 dish , the mount is far to big.Could be useful to a 150 dish but it's oversized even here.
Check the picture, shows Laminas compared to Channel Master PM

Some work has been done today.
Not 100% correct in the arc ,so some finetunig will bee done later.
Made some test with different LNB , MTI High Line Single, Inverto Black Ultra Twin, Inverto White Tech Single with CM feedhorn.
and the best where Invacom Quad with Laminas Original feedhorn.
No signal at all from 26e the birch is in it's way, same with Astra 2D.

looks good, is the dish face really heavy like channel master or much lighter ?

I'm sure a adapter plate could be used to fit the laminas polar mount to fit a 1.2m channel master but as you have already said will be too much.

samoloko, you can buy a modified gibertini polar mount to fit a channel master 1.2m dish from a uk supplier but expensive.

After looking at the photos I can't take that seriously.

Nice job Hakon, I can't wait to see it with the C-band LNBs attached. It's a pity about 26/28E. Any luck with 7W?

I will solve the problem with 26/28E when the leaf has fallen. I had better luck with the 7W , but i have to reduce the height of some branches on the apple tree. Fasten a digital camera near the dishface at the LNB feedarm and made a recording of the dish movements along the arc. So now i can see where to cut branches.
Yes the C-band LNB will attached as soon as i got the dish correct adjusted. Its so nice to have the dish on the ground, no climbing on ladders with my bad legs.

from c120 I have tested MTI, Invacom SNF-031 grey, Invacom QDF-031 white, Inverto white single, Inverto white twin
The best for me Is Inverto white tech twin (at lest for a high H pol) - you can consider for a test
from offset lnbs - Inverto Ultra Black Twin - great V pol
also I know that there are many swedish that can get Astra 2D - you may ask them - maybe your dish Is not 100 % aligned

about gilbertini polar mount to use with Channel Master 1.2 - I don't like that polar mount - It Is very ugly at look

It will work on my dish too, look at my latest pictures and you can see why it's not working. There is a high tree (birch) that's blocking the signal.
I have good signal on the other sats at 28E with my Laminas 120cm, and very bad on my 180cm .Also good signal on 26E with 120cm and very bad signal with 180cm.

Done some more work .The cabeling is not finished yet, haven't figured out how to end the "cabletube".
Now i give first receptionreport. Not a hallelujah result, but dish not 100% adjusted, a branch from a apple tree is disturbing the signal, it's cloudy and raining and the best signal is after 22.00.

It's raining and have to find something to do... so i got an idea :confused
Trying to find a mounting solution for C-band LNB on the feedarm, and tested this idea on a loose feedarm.
But i have too replace the KU LNB to the longnecked Black Ultra, it might be working with this solution.

The C-band feedhorn looks a bit too close to the dish, but only by about 1cm, so the Black Ultra should give you plenty of room for adjustment. Also, might just be the picture, but looking at picture 3, C-band LNB looks a bit low compared to the Ku one.

It's just for testing, the feedarm is for a Lami 120cm . I will make better adjustment on the Lami 180 feedarm. I'll be back:)

This is my first visit for a long time.
I just wanted to update the Laminas 1800 dish and PM function.
It's been up and running since 2011 and no need for adjustment , still working flawless.
Still cathcing the arc perfect after several storms , i am impressed.
Very pleased with the Polar mount and the dish .
The only thing that has happend is that the feedhorn leaked water after a few years, but an easy fix.
The PM has not started to rust as i thought it should, no backlash at all.
Has this Laminas been worth the money ? Definitely.

A major cleaning will be done at this springtime , as it's most plastic it will be nice again.
