Is anyone using an Openbox as their main receiver?
I've heard one or two reports that they are prone to volt leakage and in long term can cause damage to the components (LNB, cabling). Does anyone know if there is any truth in this?
I'm currently using a V8S model as my main receiver connected to my motorised dish and wondered if it would be worth looking for a replacement receiver if this is the case? I've had mine only for a few months and apart from a few bugs in the software here and there, its working well and is quite sensitive for feeds which is good.
But do they have tend to have a short life expectancy? Is it not a good idea to use these as a main set up and should I be prepared for it to 'brick' itself in the near future?
Thanks
