I am thinking bout getting a Twin LNB,
What are the advantages/dis-advantages??

Can I use it to connect 2 receivers?? (if not, how can I connect 2 receivers to the 1 dish?)

You can split the output of a single LNB by using an AB switchbox, but of course you can only operate one receiver at a time.

Alternatively you can use a 2-way signal splitter, but as only one receiver supplies the power to the LNB, the other STB will not be able to control the LNB switching.

Far better to invest your money in a twin LNB, thus allowing independent use of your receivers.

First, you should know why and what are the twin LNBs for
Secondly, the twin LNB dish is for one house, appartment, or ...
or different ones.
If they are for the same appartment the way Llew says is better and more ecconomical but if it's not I don't know.

Yes you can connect 2 receivers independently. Think of a twin LNB as two independent LNBs in one box. Take the cabling from each LNB to wherever you want your two receivers. Each receiver controls one of the "two" LNBs.
