I currently have an Amstrad DRX100 Satelitte receiver, that has decided to die. I am in the process with arguing with sky about getting it fixed, but in the meantime, can anyone help with the following:
I am able to get an Amstrad DRX400 (at postage cost) but before I get it sent, is this receiver the same as the 100 (or any / much better), and can I just take my 100 out, replace with the 400, using my original card and cable ?
Thanks, and best regards.

The 400 is much newer, so will be a lot faster. :)

Yea, all you will need to do is disconnect the old box and connect up the new one. If you subscribe to Sky's premium channels (Movies, Sports, PPV) you will need to call Sky and tell them the serial number of the new box, but it isn't complicated or unusual :)
