A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

"One has to do what one has to do" :-doh- OTOH, you volunteering to come and mow our lawn? :-rofl2

Maintained lawns, with the exception of cricket pitches (within staggering distance of a decent pub), are a blight on the landscape.

I could turn it into a more eco-friendly landscape for a reasonable rate.

More like late July/early August!
Can you think of reasons?:(
Mayhem is my reason. Held up by the very hot weather, much to hot to do much in the garden and I get very tired after a few hours of just doing light work. Add in visitors, even if only for a few days its extra time gone. Had 5 hospital visits in 2 months, plus doctors up and down, last one today thank goodness. Then we decided the house and garden was cluttered, big big clear out, tip every week and its amazing what was tucked here and there just in case. I even found the oak cupboard and draw fronts from the kitchen I replaced 8 years ago. Make good bird boxes I thought. SWIMBO is fed up with growing veg so I am having to clear the veggiw patch and it will be done with meadow grass in the spring for the wildlife but its another job. Treated the garden arch, garden shed and workshop with Ducksback, also cut out the old pointing in the slate patio, then re pointed. As winter is coming I will have more time to waste and play.
At present I am looking for a Taiwanese woman, slim built, aged 25/30 sockputteroner. My feet move further away every day.

In short pauses withing rain showers and storms, finally started on a bunch of trees, had been looking at them and postponing for 10 years... Not very large diameter, but getting immensely high and with the advent of more powerful storms, some where a treat to power lines, some could fall over building. They fell in the planned direction, and even still got all my fingers, arms and legs :O)

Very satisfying to get it done, and lots of feeling of space, new light and sky. Now only the massive cleanup work remains... a mountain of branches etc, not in the pictures. Must make some big fire, maybe some witches (aka ex-wifes) available nearby to make it more interesting lol+++

I foresee a potential domestic "conflict" - SWMBO Versus "Taiwanese woman, slim built, aged 25/30...." :-rofl2.

I used a lot of Cuprinol "Ducksback" on the garden fencing this year but found that it needed a couple of coats first time around, and then a fair bit of touching up (OOH, Matron!) after the first heavy rains - OTOH, I used the "Autumn Brown" shade and it now looks very nice:).
