I warmed up the old Yaesu FT1000 last night and swept through the low ends of the AM broadcast bands, did not hear much from your side of the pond as the locals were dropping in and out like crazy, I did hear some good stuff on the higher bands but could not understand most of them.
At 640 KHz KFI in Los Angles is a clear channel so I can't tune in around 639 KHz, you may have pick up Radio Nacional in Madrid it's on 639 KHz.
