Tonight at 21.30 on BBC Radio 3 and probably afterwards on their shitty online thing

BBC Radio 3 - Proms 2018 Repeats, Prom 13 repeat: Pioneers of Sound

there is a repeat of the electronic prom with Still Point by  Daphne Oram and The Delian Mode by  Delia Derbyshire.

It's well worth listening to. When you see the turntables you might think you would only watch it if it involved nudity (ok maybe not in this case) but it is on radio and the turtables play prepared records as in the score so it's ok.

Maximum info and some videos here

Prom 13: Pioneers of Sound

There was no peepee break, must have been hard with all that low frequency noise.

It was on tv in the summer on BBC Four but I doubt they will show it again.

Ooooh a Roland Space Echo. (Just a shade under £3k)

You might like this concert. Occam Ocean - Radige

I used to listen to triptych when I were a lowly student, must dust off the LP in the near future.
Ah, rats, just remembered I lent it to a 'friend', (who also borrowed my Altered States VHS tape)

I think this is a small sound effects generator complete with afterlife guest 20190103_112705.jpg20190103_112715.jpg20190103_112740.jpg

I built it some 40 years ago, created some interesting noises, the output of each oscillator was fed into the next stage until they all affected the output
