Rules on forum sales:

* All preliminary negotiations must take place in the thread, not by personal messages, so there will be less likelihood of misunderstandings and everything will be date stamped

* No auctions, a price must be given and no advertising Ebay auctions.

* When members have agreed to buy or sell, I will activate PM function if they don't have it, so that they can swap details.

* Do not post phone numbers or Email addresses

Failure to comply with the above rules may well result in your item being removed.

Please try and upload a photo of the actual item for sale, it will help you to sell it and remember to subscribe to the thread with Email notifications, or you may miss potential buyers.

Lastly, if you are not interested in buying an advertised item, don't post in the thread, unsolicited advice is rarely welcome.

No.

NO Live External links at all are to be posted on the forum.

I have disabled the LIVE link from your post by using the underscore _

Also, it is better to upload photos of the actual equipment, as that gives people a clear indication of what they are buying and what condition.

That is between you and the seller. The forum only provides the initial meeting point for sellers and buyers. Thats the sort of thing you discuss in a thread before sealing a bargain.

Once the deal has been struck - in public so theres no confusion and everyone knows whats been agreed - we activate your pm (personal messaging) so private details can be swapped.

I can't see why not, though the seller will be charged somewhat more than if paid for by standard cash or cheque.

This is NOT the case in paypal if the money is sent to the seller as a gift.. (personal payment)

Although.. the buyer will have a £1.00 charge for using this facility..
