Hello i am just wondering if some one could please help me i have been receiving czech channels but the have all now gone to 23.5e all on hd now, i could get a slight signal so i now have a 1.2m dish on a motorised setup as far as i know its setup right i can get a signal but it will not pick up the channels, i have the card to decode it on a old fortec star passion+ box. i am wondering if it is to out of date to receive the new channels and i can not find any updates. i was thinking about getting another box but do not know what to get just want some pointers thanks chris

If you're getting a signal, but no Channels as such, that would normally suggest you aren't actually aligned to 23.5E.

To prove this, eliminate the HD and Encryption factors by scanning a strong Transponder carrying FTA Channels.

A suitable one would be 11798H 29950, for example.

That should give you Rebel and Relax.-

Or maybe 12168 V 27500, carrying Ocko, TV Lux, Chamber TV, etc.

If the outcome is signal (They are very strong on my 80cm) but do not resolve, that would demonstrate your dish is incorrectly set up and pointing elsewhere. 26E, 28E or 19E, probably.

However, if they do resolve, that also tells us something, so let us know and we'll take it from there.

There are standard definition free to air channels on the satellite, 12168 MHz for example - can you receive those ?

I have just scanned in CT1, and CT2, on 23.5E, 12363 V 29500 DVB-S2 8PSK 3/4, without a problem.
Can you please post some signal quality readings, for the channels you are picking up, also try scanning in some of the dutch channels, and post back their signal quality readings:
RTL4 11856 V 29900 DVB-S2 8PSK 2/3, and a few other channels, you can find in the link below:
