Hi, wondering if you can help

I have moved to Hungary as I love my wife dearly, however I am missing good quality T.V I defy anyone to wtch hungarian T.V and not go crazy:)

I took my trusty Sky reciever with me thinking no problem I have looked at the astra foot print, it says 100cm dish for Budapest, well it looked like it anyway. I found a installer who said " i have done Saterlites for English people before you need a 60cm dish" ok do it I said

The dish picks up astra but which one I am not to sure, i get chaanels like open source and BEN but not good old BBC,ITV etc.
I read later these are on Astra 2D and had advice that I will need a 1.8m dish

So my question is do I stay married or not :)

No really, what do any of you recommend for a dish and LMB for the fringe area's? has anyone any experience in Hungary

it seems that i have been done by the Saterlite man who has done brits before:-doh2

any help will be appriciated + marriage guidance

1.8m wont give you all the 2D channels in Budapest - all the H polarity channels are missing on 2m dishes.

Thanks Analougesat

does each saterllite, Astra A,B and D send Horizontal and vertical signals?

Is there anyother saterllites apart from these that will give UK FTA channels, like BBc and ITV?

Click on the link and have a look here for all your options

Or better still click here for specific Astra 2D info if that is what you want
