Ok guys I have a Windows 7 in VM now and I am seeing the same issue. It's obviously a vista/7 issue with the way it handles .xml files as it doesn't happen in Win XP and it doesn't happen with the CCcam.cfg file generation. I do see a difference in the SaveAs dialog box where it doesn't display the file extension, so this may be a clue. I'll install my dev. software in Windows 7 and do the dev in there to hopefully resolve the issue.
For now the work around is to simply use Windows XP. I guess strange unexplainable issues like this is why my primary system choice will always be MAC OSX !


UPDATE:- Guys when you have this issue , are you using the Sly UK preset ?
I've done a little testing with the util and the problem only occurs for me when I use the sly UK preset. It works fine when I use the Standard Preset. Please confirm if this is the case. If so its definitely a bug in my code and I'll fix it this weekend. Thanks...

Hi guys just a little teaser for you so you can see beta6 is under construction. Advanced mode will be enabled this time. This is some major coding and is taking time but coming along nicely.
Beta 6 will also include a few minor bug fixes.
If anyone has any thoughts , ideas, suggestions, bugs, then please do shout. I want this project to be made by US not just Me.

I know this is a newcs/ cccam config creator but is there any chance in the near future of including an mgcamd config creator in the "your config files" part ?

This is still a very popular emu which works well with newcs

MGcamd confused the hell out of me to start with so his would be a useful thing to add IMHO :-worship

Due to the n line trick coming out it would be great to generate CCcam.cfg for host & client.

any way of including your sid assigner? and the possibility for remote user setup, to enable me to generate cccam.cfg files for new users to connect to my system (so much easier to set it up for them rather than talk them through it), say with the facility to store 3-5 remote box details (username, password, dyndns info, etc)

also a lottery predictor would be nice

Ok guys some good suggestions there. The code list is growing. Great! I'll consider all requests but you may find some don't make the next release. I don't want to include too much in one go as it takes longer to beta test and fix bugs.

vamps, you'll have to ask Derren about that mate, but I've heard he's not so good at it !

FANTASTIC! Can't wait. I'm not a coder but if there is anything else I can help you with, this is certainly a worthwhile project. nanochickin's suggestion for the mgcamd emu support, is probably a good one. I think you are doing great work for all of us and personally I appreciate it. My 0963 card will be activated tomorrow (HD upgrade) and the blue one (0961) should continue to clear for a while since the entitlements (unless they update again) will start running out on Nov2. All this to say that I can test on both versions for the next month or more so let me know if there is anything I can help with
