Removing channels from hex file

How do I go about removing certain channels from a hex file. What I'm trying to do is create a separate card with adult channels removed.

I'm using the Barracuda v1.3 hex files on a red cam v478. The files come with their own editor. What I can't understand is that I can see several keys for each provider, ie, keys 08, 09, ... ,0F. Which key should be edited? And what do you change it to?

Hex files do not usually contain individual keys pertaining to individual channels. The keys usually cover a range of channels, in fact usually cover the whole package of a particular provider.
So probably what you want to do is impossible.
