The usual spiel on many documents, from government departments down to clamping companies.
I assume that they mean 'pen to paper' , but if the document also contains an email address I would rather save the cost of trees, wrist-ache, ink and the stamp, plus of course the chance of it getting 'mislaid' or delayed in the post, resulting in the crossing of an important deadline.
So would a legal definition of 'made in writing' include the PC keyboard ? Afterall, it is little more than a ribbonless typewriter.
