I bought one today for the wife only a cheap one from Argos, it does look nice, we like old fashioned stuff and will be doing our living room 1950 style later in the year once I finish things outdoors :).

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

They've had them replicas on the go since the 90's... :-rofl2

Have they :confusedeek: I must get out shopping more often, here's me thinking they were the latest tech :D.

Yep, the model number of them is "TR82/97" (DAB version I believe is TR82DAB, imaginative eh?), they were first brought out in, funnily enough, 1997, and an interesting anecdote is the U in the Bush logo is shaped wrong (kind of like a magnet or horseshoe) because the original TR82 radio they used, in the Vintage Wireless Museum, to craft some moulds from had a wonky U too, so they faithfully copied a fault... :-doh
