I depend a lot on a certain courier company that deals with shipments of my orders from abroad.

On several occasions I requested that they would include the tracking number of the local post office that handles the final delivery to my home.
Knowing the local tracking number saves me several days if not weeks to get the parcel, as I just need to go to the depot myself, give them the tracking number and get the parcel.
On my last order, they implemented this idea and I had the parcel in my hands within an hour.
So I decided to send a letter to the customer services and thank them for the latest improvement.
Minutes later I received a reply telling me "great news, you parcel will be delivered soon, bla bla"
Do they ever read anything in full? I wonder now why I bothered.
