hi dont know if this is the right section .but can any one tell me which would be the best satellite to pick up romainian tv. news and political broardcasts .

Hi, take a look at http://www.flysat.com/tv-ro.php and take your pick.
Forget about 63'e unless you have a clear view low to the horizon, and Amos1 at 4'w as you cannot receive in UK

Nope, the best is Eutelsat W2, with TVR1 & TVR2 and a load of others. Its a satellite mainly dedicated to Romania and Ukraine.

Hi - re Romanian TV. TVR 1 the state TV channel is on hotbird 13 deg. It also supports teletext if you can read Romanian.
