i worked at satellite field from 1995 when i was small boy.
i have a good idea about reception in gulf countries and i worked at saudia before.
i have a good idea about old dishes like DH, PARACLIPSE, JONSA,ORBITRIN, KTI AND OTHERS.

nice pictures but from about 6 years ago ther are more big dishes in cair reach to 7.3 m i remember on helnan sheperd in cairo and many 3.7 patriot and 3.1 also orbitron and paraclipse but i think now it is arear thing .
i remember when i was small boy my father was working in saudi arabia maybe 1991 or 1992 am going there was a very huge dish by big amount the dimeter is over 7 m ftom different kinds prodeline , andrew, orbitron mesh dishes , this because they were using these dishes for astra 19.2 e analouge also with chaparral reciever and eachostar and drake low noise and using filters to have a good pictures from faraway satellites.
