Don't know about LNB's for S-band, cheaper to make your own aerial, probably a helical one.

What satellites were you considering receiving?

Hi Jacko. Do I suspect that you are in Spain?. Would like to pick up re-transmissions myself. Are you already receiving anything?.Do you need a special lnb?. I believe you need some sort of down converter, Televes I am told but I do'nt know the part number. Do you have any more gen?. Ed.

Oh yes, L. Thought it might be something much more interesting (AmSat etc) :)

hello,
already receiving these bbc,itv channels with a televes dat 45 aerial
they are FTA here in the canary islands.most technomate recievers pick up the signal,
you dont need a freeview box.the only problem is the supplier keeps changing the pids.
i also have a TM4200 with blind search ,but when doing the power scan it only brings in the signal and not the pids, this is with the dat 45 aerial.so maybe using an s-band
lnb might bring the pids in as well.
