If S*ca2 is available for the Knot card, why are the files not being released for the T*T card by the file guys? surley the people that are trying to sell the Knot 2 card can't be the only ones with the keys etc! are has this hobby become a closed shop and the only ones privialiged (sorry can't spell this word) are keeping this to themselves in fear that they become to common.

As in the Summer S*ca2 was available to everyone like C*nax is currently (when the files work!) so what game is being played here?

Regards all

the fact that sec 2 was about to be realeased into the public domain in whatever guise, is probably what prompted the
various sat companies to act as they have, which has now seen the closure of a lot of the the file sites, So take a deep breath and enjoy what you have already cos that may not be around soon.

Codes are broken by clever guys ( mostly teams ). They get a piece of code that works, after this, they can do 2 things.

1.. Shove the code out on the net for all.

2.. Shove part of the code out, and slightly re encrypt it so that it will only work on a certain typy of card. This card will be desinged by them and will have a base code that is only known to them. They then go to a factory that makes smart cards and place an order.

Some say that this is why we never got a full AU CNX file as only part of the code was released.

All the big cards have teams behind them. MII , Tit, VR3 ( pre MII maybe the same team) and now KNOT cards.

The guy/team behind the Knot card have somehow gotten hold of some, but not all of the firmed up S2 code. This is done by hours of logging, hacking , or by paying someone on the inside to give or leak the code to him. As the Knot team let us down with their K1 card, he will have a hard time shifting his K2 card. Why did he make his new found code in such a way that it needs this new K2 card. What he should have done was make this new file open to their K1 card, but no he pushed out a new card.

Some say that MII and VR3 are not the same team and that the MII broke the VR3 encryption and put out their own card. If it can be done once, maybe someone will break the K2 and we will have a file for a platform like the Tit.
