What are you trying to do with it, look for satellites or improve the performance of a system ?

Whats your budget? I personally find the Dymco/ibrave type ones you can pick up for 40 quid pretty much useless in any sunshine as the screen is unreadable. My own favoured solution is an old satellite receiver & a tatty old tv.

Around £50 but
If the £50 range is not good enough then better to buy small used tv On Gumtree

My Satellite Setup
IPTV at home, used to have a full set up of dishes for personal use but don’t bother anymore as kids need the space. In the trade part time at the moment but I am thinking of doing it full time soon

Get on EBay and as long as you’re not in a rush you’ll get one at a fairly good price. Horizon are pretty easy to use.
Seen lots of people buying these, Labgear S201 Satellite Meter about £100 brand new so much cheaper 2nd hand

As mentioned above I also use one of these....cheap as chips and great bit of kit. Does all I need, shows the TV channels live and will drive my motor too.

Mine's called the iBraveBox but it is badged as as other models but they all look and do the same.

Those ibravebox / dymaco boxes are totally useless on any day with a reasonable amount of sunlight - you cant read the screen if there is any glare at all.

Put that pervy Macintosh of yours to use, if the existing screen cover isn't up to the job.
