sat meter

I am buying a technomate tm-5500 dapci reciever and motorised dish do i need a sat meter finder to line dish to satellites as the reciever has full navigation system,incline/decline positioners will i need one
hope you can help Dave

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

The analogue side of the receiver should help in finding your due south satellite if it has analogue channels, so then if your motor settings are corect, you should be able to get away without a meter. They do make life easier though. :)
